Starburst

Starburst were very busy last term working on following daily routines, engagement, self-regulation skills through group and individual activities.  We had great fun looking at are The Very Hungry Caterpillar book. Some fantastic pieces of learning were produced, displayed and sent home at the end of term 1.
We are very pleased with how most of them have settled and continue to make smooth transition to and from school. Thanks to all the parents/carers!

This term we have fully launched into our 'The Enormous Turnip' topic. Our social communication, collaborative learning, sensory, arts and crafts, music, PE, and Health and wellbeing will all be taught through our chosen book. We will explore people who help us, where our food come from and engage in food skills activities. The rest of Term 2 will look at autumn and festive seasons with our chosen books: Our Apple Tree and A Festive Feast. We are excited about it, and as usual, we will bring home evidence of our learning for display.
