P6 Rm10 mr owens

Hello and welcome to Primary 6 with Mr. Owens! 

This year we are engaging with interesting topics such as planet Earth and Bio-systems, World of Work and Scotland - as well as some exciting trips throughout the year. More information will be shared closer to the time.   

In preparation for Primary 7, secondary school and beyond we will be focusing on behaving responsibly and develop our emotional regulation skills and resilience. As well as being mindful of the school values of being ready, safe and respectful in and out of school.  

We are now a GOLD accredited rights respecting school and will continue to develop learners’ understanding of their rights by connecting lessons and life experiences to our classroom charter.  

This year, P.E will be taught by Mr. Wright on a Monday morning and Thursday afternoon with Mr. Owens. The pupils have already started planning their own P.E and developing their organisational skills and having their input considered.  

Mrs. Watt will be working with P6 on a Tuesday morning – exploring Art, Science and developing the pupil’s digital skills.  

I am looking forward to working with Primary 6 this year!
