Life at Tulloch Primary School

P6 Rm7

Our Teacher is Mr Wright and we are also lucky to have Mr Kettle helping us.

Our PE days are on Monday and Wednesday. This term we are doing team building games and invasion games like football, handball and basketball. Today we played dodgeball in the sun which was great fun.

On a Tuesday morning we have Mrs Henderson teaching our class. She is going to be teaching us Art and Design, Drama and Science. For Science we are going to be making models and learning about the substances that make up the Earth’s surface.

So far this term, we have been learning about the importance of good team work. We listened to Team GB Olympic athletes talking about what has helped them become such a good team and then we created our own flag. We have agreed that some of the team qualities we are aiming for are ambition, shared goals and targets, friendship, confidence and being supportive.

Our learning context this term is about where we live. We are going to make our own maps and investigate different parts of the world.

We are also going to work together to look after the planters in the playground this year. Hopefully we will have some vegetables growing next year.

Our class values are Ready, Respect and Safe and we all try hard to help each other live up to these values every day. We have a class recognition board which we use to celebrate success. For example, you can get on the board for trying very hard with your writing, solving a tricky maths problem or being helpful.
